About the Noah Behind the Posts

     Hello, my name is Noah Evans. I was born and raised right outside of Chicago in Aurora Illinois and moved to Lebanon almost exactly two years ago now. Moving was a big change up, from seemingly endless streets, buildings, and traffic to trees, mountains, and rivers. My brother and I moved here after I graduated, he was ready to try something new and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. After moving I got a job as a letter carrier at the USPS and that was very obviously not for me, so I quit and signed up for classes at Linn Benton Community College. As of right now I am a business administration major but once I transfer to Oregon State I am changing my major to accounting. I enrolled in this class yes because it is a graduation requirement but also because I'm really interested in learning about the reason companies like Nike spend 1.6 billion on marketing. What really intrigues me is thinking about how that money is going to affect so many individuals lives. Some hobbies of mine include rooting for my home teams bears, bulls, cubs but ever since living in Oregon we have been going to Mariners games. If I'm not working at The Human Bean or in class you will find me with my girlfriend Hydee, she's been a big part of my new life here in Oregon. It feels like every month she comes up with something I've never done before because growing up in Illinois was just so different. Ever since I moved here a big passion of mine has been photography, it was something that was really easy for me to get into by myself, I would just pick up my camera get in the car and wonder until I found something I deemed worthy of taking a photo of, mainly landscapes of fields, mountains and anything living.
